Can I create custom cards?
Yes. If you have a membership or card that isn't in any database, you can create a fully custom card — set the name, barcode number, barcode format, and colors yourself. Anything with a scannable code can be stored in KeepCard.
Can I share a loyalty card with my family?
Yes. You can share any card with family or friends directly from the app using the standard iOS share sheet — via Messages, AirDrop, WhatsApp, or any other channel. The recipient can add it to their own KeepCard with a single tap.
How many cards can I store?
There is no hard limit on the number of cards you can store. You can have as many cards as your device storage allows.
Offline & Privacy
Does KeepCard work without internet?
Yes, completely. All your cards are stored locally on your device. KeepCard works in airplane mode, underground, abroad with no data plan, and in areas with zero signal. You will never be unable to access your cards because of connectivity.
Is my data stored on KeepCard's servers?
No. Your loyalty card data is stored locally on your iPhone. KeepCard does not upload your card information to any server. You can review the full privacy policy at keepcard.getstart.app/pages/privacy.html.
Features & Plus
Can I add loyalty cards to Apple Wallet?
Yes — with KeepCard Plus. Once upgraded, you can add any loyalty card to Apple Wallet in one tap. The card then appears on your lock screen and is accessible on Apple Watch, letting you tap to pay without even opening the KeepCard app.
What is Fast Checkout Mode?
Fast Checkout Mode is a dedicated view for showing your loyalty card at the till. It opens your card with fewer taps, displays the barcode larger and brighter for easier scanning, and maximizes screen brightness so scanners can read it without you having to fiddle with settings.
Are there home screen widgets?
Yes. KeepCard includes home screen widgets so you can pin your most-used cards directly to your iPhone home screen. Tap the widget to open the card instantly — no need to open the app first.
Does KeepCard have Dark Mode?
Yes. KeepCard fully supports Dark Mode. It can follow your iPhone's system setting automatically, or you can set it manually within the app. The dark theme is designed to be readable at checkout, including in dimly lit environments.
Is there a version for Android?
Currently, KeepCard is available for iPhone (iOS) only. If you'd like to see an Android version, let us know — user feedback helps shape the roadmap.

My card isn't scanning — what should I do?
A few things to try:
1. Increase brightness on the card if it's physical, or make sure the barcode is clean and undamaged.
2. Try different lighting — very bright direct light can cause glare.
3. Move closer or further away — there's a sweet spot for the camera.
4. Enter the number manually — tap "Enter manually" and type the digits on the card, then select the right barcode format.
If none of these work, email us at keepcard@getstart.app with details about the card and we'll help.
